5th CERMAX practical course on basic NMR

The course is open and free of charge for NMR network members but practical sessions are restricted to 12 students. To apply please send an e-mail to lamosa@itqb.unl.pt stating your interest accompanied by a short CV.

2nd of July
9.00 – Introduction to NMR spectroscopy (the phenomenon, basic properties of the signal).
10.00 – Instrumental aspects of the spectrometer /Rules for spectrometer use.
10.45 – Break
11.15 – Introduction to TopSpin software.

14.30 – Practical aspects of acquisition and processing (acquisition parameters, pulse programs, 90º pulse and T1 determination).
