Alicja Górska
Alicja Górska is a PhD student at GPlantS lab under the supervision of Margarida Oliveira, Nelson Saibo and Christoph Peterhansel (Germany).
Alicja Górska has a MSc in Biotechnology by Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland).
Alicja is particularly interested in plant response to abiotic stress conditions and signaling pathways. She is focused on finding the relations and “missing links” between crucial metabolic pathways involved in the signaling cascade of environmental stress.
Alicja’s PhD project aims to better understand the C4 genes regulation. She is characterizing the transcriptional regulation of ZmPEPC1, which encodes a key component of the C4 photosynthesis pathway.
