Advanced training in NMR

Registration is now open for GTPB Course

Oeiras, 03.05.2010

The NMR Center at ITQB (CERMAX), one of the main members of the Portuguese Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Network, is committed to advanced training to assure the best possible conditions for the use of this techique by the national scientific community. Besides the basic course of NMR spectroscopy (scheduled for June), CERMAX is now participating in a course on the “Macromolecular NMR assignment with CCPNMR Analysis” included in the Gulbenkian Training Program in Bioinformatics. The course will take place at IGC between the 31st of May and the 4th of June.

The program includes one day of introduction and theory, followed by 3 days of hands on tutorials on the use of the CCPNMR package for the analysis of NMR spectra used in sequential assignment and solution structure determination. The final part will describe protocols for structure determination and protein-protein interactions and in addition, introduce the eNMR European project that has a lot to offer to the  biomolecular NMR community.

Registration is limited to 20 seats. See the course web site for more details.
