International Congress on Ionic Liquids in Algarve

Registrations are now open for the 5th International Congress on Ionic Liquids (COIL-5) to take place in Vilamoura, Algarve, from 21 to 25 April 2013.
The Executive Committee, chaired by Luis Paulo N. Rebelo, head of the Molecular Thermodynamics Lab, welcomes participants to discover and discuss the science and technology of ionic liquids.
This is the 5th in a series of successful meetings on ionic liquids that started in June 2005 in Salzburg, Austria. Other previous COIL conferences have been held in Yokohama, Japan (2007), Cairns, Australia (2009) and Washington DC, USA (2011). Each of these venues attracted about 500 participants, transforming this event into the most important congress on the topic of ionic liquids worldwide.
