António V. Xavier Seminars continue in 2011/12
António V. Xavier Seminars is a monthly speaker series hosted by ITQB, in memory of the scientist and founder of ITQB. Every year, ten leading scientists from different Portuguese institutions are invited to talk about their areas of expertise, covering a wide range of selected topics. In the fist seminar of this year's series, scheduled for September 8th, João Rocha from CICECO, Universidade de Aveiro will discuss "Light and water games with porous silicates and metal organic frameworks".
The seminars are held once a month on Thurdays 11:00 AM at the ITQB Auditorium and are open to the public.
