António V. Xavier Seminars continue in 2009/10
António V. Xavier Seminars is a monthly speaker series hosted by ITQB since 2008, in memory of the scientist and founder of ITQB. Every year, ten leading scientists from different universities are invited to talk about their areas of expertise, covering a wide range of selected topics. In the fist seminar of this year's series, scheduled for September 17th, Jorge Calado from IST will discuss "The essence of Chemistry".
The seminars are held once a month on Thurdays 11:00 AM at the ITQB Auditorium and are open to the public.
