Big Steps for a Greener ITQB
In 2008 ITQB was challenged to “Think blue”. The idea was to make small changes, to take small steps, like turning off the lights or using the stairs, and change the way we live and spend, both at work and at home.
Things did change on planet ITQB. For a while…
In the meantime, the world’s situation has changed too and now, more than ever, the word "saving" is on everyone’s mind. Particularly now we must make any possible efforts to turn waste into science
So this time we want to go further. And instead of taking small steps we invite you to take BIG STEPS.
Have you noticed that ITQB’s face is now green? Help us to become green inside, as well.
This time BE GREEN.
With internet and social networks, ideas can reach great distances making big steps possible. If we all share our ideas we can ahieve a great. So, what better than a video to show how green you have become?
Make your own energy saving plan and put your green ideas into a video so they can be shared and used by all.
Send your videos to firstname.lastname@example.org until the end of December. They will be uploaded on Facebook and put to vote. The video with the most likes will be the face of the “Be Green” campaign and will receive the prestigious Greeny Award in a special ceremony to take place in 2013.
|ITQB consumes over 6,000,000 kWh of electricity per year. It is clear that we need electricity to conduct our research. Still, saving is possible. Start by putting the ideas below in practice.|
