Sequence Input

If you want to experiment with a DNA sequence to CGR coordinate converter (and vice versa) click here to open in a new window.
If you have sequences to test, you can insert them here. Simply Copy it from the text editor of your choice and Paste it in the Input box on the left.
If you want to use the sample sequence ( E. coliK12 threonine operon genes A, B and C, borrowed from the University of Winsconsin E. coli Genome Project ), click here to open in a new window or click here to see it in the same window. Use the "cut & paste" capabilities of your browser to submit the sequences to analyse.
The format required is:
  • A "> " has to precede the name of the sequence. Example: >   thrB where "thrB" is the name of the sequence.
  • The sequence itself follows.
  • A new sequence starts on a new line.
  • No empty lines (or spaces) are allowed inbetween the sequences.
Hint: Since the data is passed from one page to the next, going back and forth with the browser buttons may leave you in a confusing situation. You always have the values on the page that were used for the calculation.
