Healthcare - Medical Clinics
ITQB NOVA provides Healthcare to all community as General Practice and Occupational Medicine. For any information related with the service contact with Goretti Rocha (ext. 1211) or by e-mail (itqb.medicina@itqb.unl.pt).
General Practice (accessible to everyone at the Institute) functions twice a month with Dr. Francisco Raposo - online booking.
Occupational Medicine (accessible to workers and researchers with a contract) functions twice a month with Dr. Maria Alberta Almeida - appointments booked by the physician and in accordance with the legislation in force.
Safety and Floor Coordination Committee (SFCC)
The main objective of SFCC is the promotion of safe and healthy working conditions throughout ITQB NOVA; to provide counselling and/or training on demanded subjects, and to assure that all research activities are compliant with legal obligations concerning to Health and Safety at Work, Environmental Protection and Emergency awareness. Any researcher can propose subjects for debate in the regular meetings through the respective Floor Coordinator.
