Title:Translating pandemic-era expertise in molecular diagnostics into rapid tests for multiple applications

Abstract: During the COVID-19 pandemic, we developed and implemented molecular diagnostic assays for the rapid and cost-effective detection of SARS-CoV-2, marking the debut of a novel research line in our laboratory. In this presentation, I will discuss how the pandemic-acquired expertise in rapid molecular testing is currently being adapted and applied to address new research and diagnostic challenges.

SCANs are weekly seminars that happen every Wednesday at noon by in-house researchers and invited speakers at ITQB NOVA.
