ITQB NOVA’s Innovation Office plays a crucial role in translating cutting-edge research into impactful solutions. While our portfolio of successful startups is still under development, we are actively working to support researchers in translating their discoveries into commercial ventures.

Extremochem start-up

ITQB NOVA developed a library of molecules capable of significantly improving protein stabilization under stress. This led to the creation of the Extremochem start-up, which was later acquired by Hovione, to further develop these stabilizers for broader applications, including safer and more affordable biopharmaceuticals.
