Led by Manuel N. Melo, the lab focuses on the molecular-level details of biomolecular interactions. To this end we employ coarse-grained, atomistic, and hybrid MD simulations.

Simulation and analysis software is also developed at the lab, with emphasis on large-scale parallelization.

The Lab is part of the ITQB NOVA and of the MOSTMICRO Unit since 2016.
