It is involved in a number of initiatives ranging from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itqb.unl.pt\/about-us\/organization\/communication-office\/institutional-communication\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">institutional communication<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itqb.unl.pt\/about-us\/organization\/communication-office\/science-outreach\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">outreach activities<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itqb.unl.pt\/about-us\/organization\/communication-office\/science-communication-training\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">training in science communication for researchers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.itqb.unl.pt\/science-and-society\/Media\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">media relations<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, to take scientific research closer to the community. The office coordinates all communication platforms including website and social networks and supports researchers in their activities, such as meetings, journal cover design, and laboratory websites.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Communication Office\u2019s work is organised around three main areas:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Institutional communication: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">promoting ITQB NOVA\u2019s research and educational offer nationally and internationally.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Internal communication:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> fostering cohesion and a sense of belonging across the Institute.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Engagement with society: <\/b>bringing science closer to citizens through outreach and public engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\" wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button fs-5\" href=\"https:\/\/www.itqb.unl.pt\/support-services-intranet\/\">Intranet<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Communication Office handles institutional and internal communication, outreach and educational activities and online platforms.
