Startup Project Development



Endow and coach students with concepts and methods necessary to individually develop a business concept/ model around the Business Model Canvas. Namely develop the following dimensions around their individual projects:

  1. Customer identification and segmentation
  2. Value Proposition
  3. Customer relationships and Channels
  4. Revenue structure - How will the project attract and make money?
  5. Key Partnerships, Key Activities, & Key Resources
  6. Cost structure: How much is it needed to develop the business plan?
  7. Soft skills: Pitching and Communication


In the end, students should be able to

  1. Develop a business case/ plan.
  2. Pitch (7-10 min) the business case/ plan to a large audience of very different backgrounds.
