The Oeiras Valley intends to attract more companies and investments to the municipality of Oeiras, support new, and established companies, in innovating through science. The Oeiras Valley aims to become the number one ecosystem in Portugal in attracting technology-based companies, and to be the leading science municipality in Portugal.  In the scope of this Mission, the Oeiras Municipality supports the StartUp Research Program with 15 attendance scholarships for every edition of the program.

Pharmis Biofarmacêutica, Lda. is a portuguese company aiming at innovating  in the biopharmaceutical space through R&D and novel product launch. Pharmis is a StartUp Research Associate Partner, sponsoring the development of both, Pharmis’ internal business model ideas, and novel ideas falling within Pharmis scope of innovation; all within the StartUp Research Program.

IPS is involved in supporting the implementation and enhancement of R&D and the innovation process. Born in 2020 from Megaingenium, IPS offers a range of services on substantive patent matters. IPS is based in Belgium, in the “heart” of Europe, but acts internationally through partnerships with entities in the field of Intellectual Property from various countries, such as the United States, China, and Brazil. IPS supports the StartUp Research program through an administrative sponsorship.
