Alumni ITQB

ITQB awards PhD Degrees since 1995. In 2003, ITQB established a PhD Program in Chemical and Biological Sciences, mandatory for all first year PhD students and initially focused on experimental techniques and methodologies. The PhD program was re-designed in 2006 by increasing focus on relevant scientific problems of chemistry, biology and associated technologies. The current ITQB PhD Program was fully re-structured in 2009 to meet the requirements of the Bologna agreement.

ITQB PhD students have been successful as researchers in academia, in research centres, and in industry. Other students have decided to pursue non-scientific careers. To know more about the paths taken by some of our former students please visit the ITQB Alumni webpage.
