The Summer Science @ ITQB NOVA provides you with the opportunity to experience science in a cutting-edge research institute. During one week, you will spend approximately 35 hours in a laboratory of your choice and participate in various round tables discussing scientific topics. You will also have the opportunity to participate in social activities that will allow you to meet and interact with scientists and, most of all, have fun.
If you are currently an undergraduate student (2nd or 3rd year) you can experience summer at ITQB NOVA. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance, and will have the opportunity to obtain 1.5 ECTS credits. Please register using the online application form. We look forward to receiving your application.
Programme:
Round Table I: The role of Science in Society
Date and time: July 25th, 17:00 – 19:00
Overview: The event will start by a brief introduction to the subject by each one of the speakers, followed by a discussion with intervention from the audience.
