Coordinator of the post-graduation program in Bioinformatics and network for academic cooperation in the development of tools for structural and functional genomics. Her expertise includes prediction of small RNAs by Bioinformatics and assembly and annotation of genomes.
She is also an expert in the biology of nitrogen fixation, and biochemistry of microorganisms (namely in the physiology and genetics of nitrogen fixation in Herbaspirillum seropedicae e Azospirillum brasilense).
