Abstract:
ECBio SA has developed a lead cell product (UCX®) based on mesenchymal stem cells isolated from the umbilical cord tissue through a proprietary patented technology. UCX® is the basis for off-the-shelf, allogeneic (non-related donors) cell products targeting various severe unmet therapeutic needs. Helder Cruz, founder and CEO of ECBio, is a former PhD student and Researcher from ITQB/IBET and will present the adventure of developing therapeutic products at ECBio.
