Abstract:
Careers in both academia and industry can be very gratifying, each offering unique opportunities and challenges. However, getting a job in industry after a PhD in academia seems, for many, as appealing as terrifying. In this talk, you will listen the testimonial from a (not so old) fellow with not such a long career about struggles and rewards of the transition from the academia to the industry. Also, a brief presentation of Hovione as a science based and quality oriented company will be made.
