Speaker: Peter Roepstorff

Affiliation: University of Southern Denmark at Odense, DK

Host: Ana Varela Coelho

Peter Roepstorff’s research group is a world reference in what concerns the study of mass spectrometry applications to biological systems. It focuses its research on the development of sensitive, specific and applied methodology for protein identification and micro-characterization. The main analytical tools used are mass spectrometry, chromatography, and bioinformatics.

Peter is one of the leading scientists involved in the development of mass spectrometry applications to proteins, with over 100 publications in high standard international journals; he has surely lots of interesting stories and scientific knowledge to offer us in the seminar he will be presenting at the ITQB's auditorium next 26th of May at 11.00 h.
