CATSUS PhD Program 2015
Applications are now open for the second edition of the FCT-funded PhD program in Catalysis and Sustainability (CATSUS), which has the participation of ITQB. The deadline for applications for one of the six CATSUS PhD grants available for 2015 is October 31st.
The call is open to students from all over the world. Typical eligible applicants should hold an MSc degree, or recognized equivalent, in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials, Pharmacy, Biochemistry or related areas, and have special interests in Catalysis topics.
Catalysis provides the highest contribution of Chemistry towards sustainable development, allowing reactions to be performed with the highest energy saving, in the most efficient, economical and environmental responsible way. The CATSUS PhD consortium is based on the expertise, complementarity of skills and commitment to further develop a long-standing collaboration among the proposers, in the broad area of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Admissions to the CATSUS program are permanently opened to students with other sources of funding.
The second edition of this program will start in February 2015.
