Master in Biochemistry for Health 2015/16

Applications are now open for the Master Course in Biochemistry for Health. The application deadline is July 26. Candidates should submit their application using the form available at the Master Course website.
The Master Programme in Biochemistry for Heath of Universidade NOVA provides a critical and analytical perspective of human health from a biochemical point of view. Students have the opportunity to gain strong basic knowledge in Biochemistry, especially in its interface with Biophysics, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry (particularly with a pharmacological perspective), and Social Sciences.
The programme relies on the strong scientific and educational expertise of Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Faculdade de Ciências Médicas, and ITQB to access multidisciplinary areas of research and development in several sectors of industry and services related to human health, including pharmaceutical industry, clinical analysis, and biotechnology.
Students interested in learning more about this Master Programme are invited to attend the 2015 Open Day of the Masters Course in Biochemistry for Health, which will take place in the afternoon of Friday June 19. Prospective candidates will be able to interact with members of the teaching staff from ITQB, FCT and FCM, current 1st and 2nd year students, as well as visit selected ITQB research laboratories.
