Rugby trophy honours founder of ITQB

As reported by the daily newspaper Público, from now on António Xavier will have his name associated to a rugby trophy. The founder of ITQB, who was also a passionate rugby athlete in the 60s and 70s, played for Técnico and CDUP, the two Portugese rugby clubs making this tribute to his memory. Troféu António Xavier will be awarded by his widow to the captain of the winning team, for the first time this Saturday when both teams meet. The idea is that the trophy is awarded to the winner of the match, every time the teams confront each other in the field "Campo das Olaias”.
