Abstract: BioMimetx is a Portuguese-born biotech startup founded by ITQB alumni. The Company is focused on delivering sustainable solutions for marine antifouling, aimed at preventing the adhesion of biofouling on seafaring vessels and aquaculture nets. In this presentation, we will explore its journey from the beginning, tracing the research and product development that supports the technology, while highlighting key milestones, challenges and triumphs encountered along the way.
