Rebeca Souto Santos graduated in Genetic Biotechnology by UTAD and has a Msc. degree in Legal medicine from ICBAS.
Rebeca´s main goal is to understand epigenetic regulation of rice under cold stress. She is particularly interested on how chromatin status and histone modifications marks can change in response to cold stress. Rebeca is performing epigenetic analyses on specific genes known to be responsive to cold stress.
