Enrollment

There is an acceptance fee of 100€ (one hundred euros) on the academic year 2024/2025, that should be paid up to 7 days ( maximum) after the communication of acceptance at the Master Course.

The fee payment is mandatory after the acceptance of the Candidate.

Failure to pay within this period implies the automatic exclusion of the candidate, and no exemption situations are foreseen.

The amount paid will be deducted later in the total amount of the tuition fees.

Required documents:

  1. Identification document
  2. One photo (recent)
  3. VAT number
  4. Curriculum Vitae
  5. Certificates (in Portuguese, English, French, or Spanish; if in other languages, documents should be translated to Portuguese or English and must be certified by the official consulate)
  6. Proof of application fee payment In alternative this document may be sent by email
     

Eligibility Criteria:

a) "Licenciado" or Master degree or its legal equivalent in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Health Sciences or related fields;

b) Foreign University degree obtained after a first or second cycle of studies in the scientific fields mentioned in a), organized in observance of the principles of the Bologna Treaty by a member State that signed this Treaty;

c) Foreign University degree obtained in the scientific fields mentioned in a) that has been recognized as fulfilling the objectives of a "licenciado" degree by the Scientific Councils of FCT-UNL, ITQB-UNL or FCM-UNL;

d) Academic, scientific or professional curriculum recognized as sufficient to enroll in the study cycle by the Scientific Council of the Master in Biochemistry for Health.

Selection Criteria (in order of importance):

GPA of prior academic degree(s);
Academic and scientific curriculum;
Professional curriculum;
Interview (tie-break);

 

Please note that the application will only be reviewed when the application fee has been paid.

Details for payment of application fee (51€ - non-refundable):

Payments should be made by ATM for the applicants that are residents in Portugal ( the reference number should be issued in the applications platform) and by bank transfer (see details below) for the applicants that are residents abroad; please submit a copy of the ATM/HomeBanking receipt together with the other application documents or e-mail it to itqb.academics@itqb.unl.pt, indicating the name of the candidate as in the application form.
