The GREEN-IT Bioresources for Sustainability Unit addresses the challenge of ensuring food security and adequate resources for a growing human population, by deciphering the basic mechanisms of plant-environment interactions and translating knowledge into innovation for plant breeding, while guaranteeing environmental sustainability.
This GREEN-IT annual meeting will include presentations regarding the general organization and outreach, new GREEN-IT PIs, and close links to Collaborative Labs and financial Management/Strategic investments, as well as meetings with the Scientific Advisory Board.
GREEN-IT is a Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia funded research unit, that links Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica António Xavier ITQB NOVA, Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica (iBET), Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência (IGC), Instituto Nacional de Investigação Agrária e Veterinária (INIAV) and Insituto Nacional de Saúde Dr. Ricardo Jorge (INSA).
