On October 1st, 2019, the Rectorate of Universidade Nova de Lisboa welcomes the workshop "Metallo proteins and spectroscopy: relevance for human health and disease". The workshop is organized by the TIMB3 project, funded by the European Union and coordinated by ITQB NOVA.

The meeting will gather national and international specialists on the role of Metals in Biology and on the application of several spectroscopies that will show how they are used to understand the molecular basis of these important components of life and their medical implications.
