Abstract: Plants can adapt to different environments modifying their responses and development. The transcriptional reprogramming of the nucleus by chromatin and epigenetic related mechanisms is key in the plasticity of plants to adapt throughout their whole life cycle. We are interested in the Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 (PRC2), which epigenetically represses transcription ensuring the control of plant development. In this talk I will introduce recent results from my lab about novel interactors of PRC2 that regulate the activity of this complex and its impact on plant development.
