Women Involved in the Science of the Future

 

Three top women scientists (SET-Routes University Ambassadors) will talk about their scientific research and share their experience of working in science.

The international conference is aimed at university undergraduate and postgraduate students and
scientists from all levels.

            Molecular chaperones in protein folding and signal transduction
          • Montse Pagès, Instituto de Biología Molecular de Barcelona (IBMB-CSIC)
            Drought tolerance in maize, an important crop in agriculture
      • Lunch (lunch will be offered to the participants attending the whole day)
      • Round-table discussion

 

This conference is organised by SET-Routes. SET-Routes is the result of a unique collaboration between three of Europe's top scientific organisations, the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL),  Europe's flagship laboratory for molecular biology; the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), which promotes excellence in the life sciences; and the European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN), one of the World's most prestigious research centres.
