The Bioprocess development group is focused on the optimization of upstream and downstream processes for the production of vaccines and therapeutic proteins. The group has a number of on-going projects whose objectives are to develop novel processes with a high yield, to produce biologicals at an affordable cost for developing countries.
During this presentation, I will give some examples of the achievements of the group and describe the ongoing projects. I will particularly talk about rabies vaccines and development of biosimilars.
