Abstract: ITQB NOVA is launching a new Mentoring pilot program (MPP) to foster and guide the professional development of researchers, at all career levels. This program will provide a scaffold to support the professional development of researchers - the Mentees - by promoting meetings with more experienced professionals - the Mentors, who can provide advice and help reflect on different issues related with both the development of the Mentees’ career, within or outside research/academia, and own personal development. If you are considering enrolling, or simply curious about mentoring practices, and would like to know more about this new programme, please attend this information and discussion session. We will explain why this mentoring program comes about now, what does it entail, what are the roles and responsibilities of Mentors and Mentees, and all the remaining practical details important for those enrolling on the programme.
