Abstract
A space where multidisciplinary collaboration drives creativity, innovation and making can transform ideas into impactful applications in life sciences. A new research facility is being set to become a key platform for this convergence, fostering the _art of making_ and lab-on-a-chip technologies, novel methods, and sophisticated microstructures tailored for diverse research domains. This versatile prototyping nexus will support academic researchers and industry partners in developing and testing their own technological solutions, while also nurturing a new generation of researchers and makers. The inception phase presents a unique opportunity to collectively shape its direction, form, and functionality alongside with the community. This SCAN seminar will introduce the vision behind the facility, showcase its potential capabilities and services, and highlight practical application examples within ITQB NOVA’s research landscape.
