Title: New opportunities in Horizon Europe for ITQB NOVA’s researchers

Abstract: The new European framework programme - Horizon Europe - launched earlier this year, with a budget of around 95.5 billion euros for research and innovation all across Europe. This is the 9th framework programme, it will run between 2021 and 2027, and it will be the largest ever to take place in Europe.
This seminar aims to provide an overview of the structure of the programme, highlight key new features that were introduced in Horizon Europe in relation to its predecessor (Horizon 2020), and focus on our current knowledge of future funding opportunities and challenges within this programme.
This will be done with a specific focus on the thematic areas that characterize the scientific profile of the ITQB NOVA research community, and in light of the ITQB NOVA’s application track record and performance under the previous European framework programme.
