Title: The Marie Curie Master Class new initiative explained

Speaker: Margarida Trindade

Affiliation: ITQB NOVA Science Funding Office

Abstract

NOVA University is launching a new program to support candidates to Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships. This session aims to explain this initiative, and targets potential supervisors and candidates (postdocs considering a period of mobility).

In brief, a Marie Curie Master Class will be organized in May 2017 to prepare potential candidates to write the grant proposal and to help them get relevant input from the supervisor and host institution, thus ensuring an excellent starting point for a successful application. NOVA/ITQB NOVA will cover costs of training and stay of selected applicants; the candidates should support travel costs.

Potential supervisors have a key role during this process and now is the time to disseminate this initiative to find motivated candidates to come and work at your labs. To help you doing this NOVA prepared dissemination materials which will also made available during this session.
