A night to celebrate Science around the country

On 30th September go meet a scientist

Oeiras, 12.09.2016

(Portuguese version)

On 30th September, Science takes the streets in a celebration that aims to bring together scientists and the public. European Researchers Night in Portugal will reach 18 cities around the country, where all curious people will have all kinds of activities waiting for them: hands on experiments, talking with a scientist and finding all the challenges the future may bring us. From 6pm to 0am, in Alcanena, Aveiro, Bragança, Coimbra, Constância, Estremoz, Faro, Guimarães, Lagos, Lisboa, Lousal, Porto, Porto Moniz, Proença-a-Nova, Sintra, São Miguel, Tavira and Vila do Conde, chose your nearest venue and take your chance to think, see, experiment, talk, meet with scientists and learn more about their work.

The Future is the theme for this year’s event, but there will be activities in all areas: health, aging, cognitive improvement, impact of the human action on the planet, such as climate change and ocean exploration, among others.

There are already some activities going on since august, and they will continue until 30th September and until the next Researchers Night 2017. All the programs will be known through the Facebook page and website.

ITQB NOVA will be at Pavilhão do Conhecimento, in Lisbon, with many activities and 14 researchers. Come and meet us.
