António V. Xavier's notebook
From September on, ITQB will host a new seminar series entitled António V. Xavier Seminars, in memory of the scientist and founder of ITQB. Ten distinguished scientists have been invited to talk about their areas of expertise, covering a wide range of topics throughout the year.
The seminars will be held once a month (Sepetember '08 - June'09) on Thurdays 11:00 AM at the ITQB Auditorium and are open to the public.
Opening this seminar series, António Coutinho, reputed scientist and IGC director, will talk about Translational Medicine. This first seminar (exceptionally on Wednesday) is scheduled for September 17.
