Best poster award for ITQB PhD student

The poster "Improving crystal quality by combined bioinformatics, biophysical characterization and seeding techniques" by Bruno Correia, PhD student at the Macromolecular Crystallography Unit, was selected as the best poster at the FEBS Practical Course: Advanced methods on macromolecular crystallization V, which took place at the end of June in the Academic and University Center Nove Hrady, Czech Republic.
Bruno Correia is jointly supervised by Colin McVey, Lab of Structural Genomics at ITQB, and Marta Pires de Miranda, Viral Pathogenesis Unit at IMM. As a prize for the best poster of this FEBS course, he received the Volume F of International Tables for Crystallography dedicated to the crystallography of biological macromolecules.
