New open-access journal for unicellular biology
Claudina Rodrigues-Pousada is academic editor of Microbial Cell

Claudina Rodrigues-Pousada, invited full professor at ITQB, accepted the invitation to act as academic editor of the new open-access, peer-reviewed journal, Microbial Cell. The journal aims to publish “exceptionally relevant research works that implement the use of unicellular organisms (and multicellular microorganisms) to understand cellular responses to internal and external stimuli and/or to model human diseases”. The Editorial Board includes many renowned scientists in this field, some working in Portugal.
