PhD in Sustainable Chemistry

Applications for doctoral fellowships accepted till July 9

Oeiras, 21.06.2013

The PhD Program in Sustainable Chemistry is now accepting applications for the academic year 2013/2014. The best ten candidates in the selection process will receive one of the ten available doctoral fellowships to enroll in this multidisciplinary program focused on sustainable research strategies towards the development of new chemical processes and products. The deadline for application is July 9.

Directly funded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, the PhD Program in Sustainable Chemistry is jointly hosted by three leading Portuguese Universities: Aveiro, Porto and NOVA. The three host institutions have managed well-established PhD programmes in Chemistry and Sustainable Chemistry for several years; this new Doctoral Program represents the association of those programmes into a single, joint doctoral program on Sustainable Chemistry. The research expertise supporting this program is clustered in three Laboratórios Associados - REQUIMTE, CICECO, and ITQB – and two smaller but highly productive research centers –CIQUP and QOPNA.

Applicants should visit the PhD Program website for further details. Applications must be submitted through the available application platform.
