António Bensabat Rendas elected president of CRUP

On February 9, António Bensabat Rendas, rector of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, was elected by his peers as the next president of CRUP, the national council of university rectors.
During the last three-year mandate, CRUP was headed by Fernando Seabra Santos, Rector of the University of Coimbra, who will continue in office until 9th of March when the new president formally takes over as representative of the 16 rectors of the council.
