We participated in the European Researchers' Night at the Oeiras Marina. The event was promoted by the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica António Xavier - Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (ITQB NOVA) in partnership with Oeiras Municipality, bringing science closer to the citizens.

Within the framework of the EUTOPIA Young Leaders Academy, we received Pierre Milbeo from CY Cergy Paris Université (France), who introduced the BioCIS laboratory with the aim of promoting new collaborations within the Alliance.

Nicola Cioffi and Rosaria Anna Picca from the University of Bari Aldo Moro (Italy) visited us between the 29th and 31st of January. They also presented a double seminar at the Institute about Nanoantimicrobials with the state of the art and new perspectives.

Felipe Conzuelo has been elected as a fellow of the Young Leaders Academy (YLA) of the EUTOPIA Alliance, aiming to support research exchanges between high-potential early to mid-career researchers, coming from all EUTOPIA partner universities with the vision of an interconnected academic environment.
