Referees

Two referees appointed by the scientific commission will analyse the extended abstracts, which, if approved, may be returned to the authors for eventual corrections. The authors are responsible for the revision of the first print copies.

Form and preparation of extended abstracts

  1. Authors are responsible for opinions and concepts expressed in the article.
  2. Manuscripts should be clear and succinct. The size of the print paper should be A4 20 x 13.5 cm, including tables, pictures, etc, and with a left margin not less than 4 cm.
  3. Abstract preparation should consider:
3.1. Extended abstract should have title, authors, addresses, and the main text not exceeding 1000 words (when including figures/tables this number must be reduced in order to have two A4 printed pages). The title should be concise, specific and descriptive, not exceeding 15 words. Abstract should be followed by keywords (maximum 3) not duplicating the title. For original works the text should be organized without section separation but include the following items:
    a) Introduction/goals of the work
    b) Material and methods
    c) Results and discussion/conclusions
    d) References (optional; maximum 5)
3.2. Tables and Figures: Should be used whenever they enhance the understanding of the article. The size should fit the paper print page. Table/Figure caption should be short and concise.
  4. Number of copies: Authors should submit their manuscript by e-mail attachment, including the Word file (with figures/graphs) plus a PDF version.
  5. Proofs correction: The author(s) should correct the first print proofs.
  6. Offprint: Authors will receive the final print volume.
