ITQB NOVA is strongly committed to bridging science and the rest of society. Through an active outreach programme, the Institute engages students at all levels, from school visits and hands-on activities to job shadowing and summer schools.
Beyond the classroom, ITQB NOVA connects with the wider public through flagship events such as its Open Day, the European Researchers’ Night, the International Fascination of Plants Day or Microorganism Day, and a regular presence at science fairs and festivals. Citizen science projects, online resources, and media engagement further ensure that cutting-edge research is accessible to all.
