In September, the weather in Lisbon remain extremely warm. The average temperature still reaches a high of 26°C (which is about 79°F), and never dips any lower than 17°C (about 63°F).

There are many ways to get to Lisbon and all of them are easy to use. With the airport, just a few minutes from the centre of the city, stations with international rail links and various ports for cruise ships, there are many options for getting to the capital of Portugal. If you prefer to come by car, there are excellent roads from various points north and south along the border with Spain.

Land at the Lisbon international airport (Humberto Delgado Airport) which is just a mere 7 km from the centre of the city. Served by the main international airlines and just 2-3 hours away from the main European capitals (ex. Paris, London, Rome and Madrid), it is very easy to reach.

Airport Transfers: After arriving at the airport, you can take the Metro (Red line) to the city centre, and it takes only 25 minutes! Or you can use the AeroBus, which makes regular connections between Lisbon airport, several central points of the city and bus and rail terminals. National and international trains arrive every day at Santa Apolónia station, which is very close to all the traditional neighbourhoods and the city centre.

We have the Lusitânia Comboio Hotel service, that connects Lisbon to Madrid. With daily departures from Lisbon and Madrid, the Lusitânia Comboio Hotel, is a night service that lets you sleep, organise work and enjoy the on-board meals in the eating car. The Lusitânia Comboio Hotel connects up with an InterRegional connection to and from the north of the country between Oporto Campanhã/Coimbra B/Oporto Campanhã.
