Short course
A four and a half day course with theoretical and practical sessions covering basic aspects of the technique and oriented towards both beginners and routine NMR users. Basic theoretical aspects of NMR. Introduction to the most commonly used 1D and 2D homonuclear and heteronuclear techniques. Data acquisition and processing with a “hands-on” approach
Target audience
The course is available to all those who need/want basic training in the area of Magnetic Resonance, but is especially aimed at master's or doctoral students in the life sciences and analytical technicians in the areas of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Health and Veterinary Sciences. The trainees must have a university degree in the areas of Chemistry and Biology.
Applications
The course is open and free of charge, however the practical sessions are restricted to 12 students. To apply to this course please send an e-mail to lamosa@itqb.unl.pt stating your interest/reasons to attend until the 16th of October 2026.
