Students step up as "antibiotic guardians" against resistance
With the mission of tackling antibiotic resistance through the analysis of soil samples, the MicroMundo@Oeiras project brings together researchers from ITQB NOVA, NOVA students and high schoolers from Oeiras. The first results of this citizen science initiative were published in the journal FEMS Microbiology Letters.
