A citizen science project developed by ITQB NOVA and the Municipality of Oeiras has been awarded the Excellence in Public Engagement with Science Award.
From Oeiras to Europe: Science Comes to Town celebrates science with citizens in 2027
ITQB NOVA and the Municipality of Oeiras are part of a consortium that will organize hundreds of events and projects across Europe to bring science closer to local communities, with greater citizen involvement in scientific research projects. Oeiras is the Portuguese host city for this initiative, in which Portugal is participating for the first time.
