Are you looking for a creative way to relax after work?
Do you enjoy drawing, painting, colouring by numbers, creating digital illustrations, making collages, or simply trying something new? Then relaxARTE is for you!
There are no rules about what to create or how to participate. The goal is to enjoy the creative process, at your own pace and without pressure. No previous experience is required and everyone is welcome.
This session will include an introduction to linocut / lino printing: a simple and fun printmaking technique using linoleum.
If you’d like to give it a try, you can bring:
- a simple sketch of what you would like to print
- tracing paper, pencil and eraser
- a small linoleum/lino block (sold at Ponto das Artes shops or online in Amazon, eg: https://www.pontodasartes.com/pt/catalogo/gravura/linoleo-e-placas-gravura/linoleo/placa-linoleo-softcut-3-mm/)
- linocut carving tools
- printing ink
- a plastic sleeve to spread the ink
- a small roller/brayer
- some paper to print on
